The Open returns to Royal Troon in Scotland’s South Ayrshire coast 8 years after one of the most historic battles in Open Championship history between eventual winner Henrik Stenson, and 2013 Champion Golfer Phil Mickelson.
2024 will be the 10th Open Championship to be hosted at Royal Troon, where former winners include golfing legends such as Tom Watson, Bobby Locke and Arnold Palmer.
Royal Troon is home to one of the world’s most famous golf holes, the short but challenging 8th hole, known as ‘The Postage Stamp’. At 123 yards, it’s the shortest hole of all current Open courses. Don’t be fooled though, the narrow green is guarded by 5 strategically placed links bunkers, acting like magnets to wayward tee shots.
There are a number of hospitality packages available which can be booked through Fraser Golf Travel. Below are the packages available at the time of publishing this post, these are subject to change and as you’d imagine are selling fast!
Medallists Package
Set within the Marine Troon Hotel alongside the 18th fairway, guests will be treated to incredible service whether dining in the Rabbit Restaurant, enjoying drinks in the Seal Bar or soaking up the atmosphere on the terrace looking over the 18th fairway.

- Full complimentary bar throughout the day, including fine wines, beer, champagne, spirits and soft drinks
Medallists packages are currently available for Thursday, Friday and Saturday only.
Scorers Premium
Situated next to the 15th hole within the Origins Hospitality Pavilion, Scorers Premium provides the ideal base for guests to watch the world’s best golfers take on the beautiful Royal Troon course. With the lively private garden area comes large screen TV’s allowing guests to watch all the action whilst enjoying the bistro-style cuisine.
Scorers Premium is available for 10 guests or more per table.

- Located in the lower level of the Origins Hospitality Pavilion on the 15th hole
- Parking pass (1 per 4 guests)
- Full TV coverage of play throughout the restaurant
- Welcome desk with experienced hosting staff

- Private restroom facilities
- Private table for you and your guests for the whole day
Dining and Drinks
- Breakfast rolls and a selection of pastries with tea, coffee and juices
- Roaming waiters to assist with beverage service
- Chefs preparing wholesome classics alongside a grazing lunch buffet and an abundant ploughman’s selection
- Delicious sweet and savoury afternoon snacks
- Dessert stations for guests to enjoy something sweet as part of their meal
- Complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks

Scorers Hospitality
Similar to Scorers Premium, however, no guaranteed private table, guests will have access to informal unreserved seating inside and out, which is on first come first served basis.
